His velvet obsession

His velvet obsession

But the darkness was winning. The darkness of the bunker wasn't silent. It hummed with the sound of my own failing strength and the rhythmic, terrifyingly light breathing of the girl sitting across from me. My vision was a blurred mess of gray and blue, but I could still see her silhouette. She was a shadow among shadows, clutching her knees to her chest.

I promise, I think I'm scared of Xavier too cos what?! This book is so immersive that you feel every detail: every fear, anxiety, and tension! Xavier is so drowned in on his obsession with her eventhough she's his step-sister! The pull between them isn't one that will break anytime soon. Read this!!

This book is completely chaotic in the best way possible. Xavier is toxic, obsessive, and honestly terrifying sometimes, but that’s what made the story so addictive. The tension between him and Velvet had me hooked. If you love dark romance with drama, danger, this is definitely worth reading.

From Prison To Power: The Ex-Wife's Vengeance

From Prison To Power: The Ex-Wife's Vengeance

I watched my nine year-old daughter grieve a mother who was still breathing, and I drowned in the silence I was forced to keep. My knees buckled. I slid down the stone wall until I sat on the cold floor, the Ghost-Phone pressed to my chest as though I could somehow transmit my heartbeat through the screen. Mia’s quiet weeping filled the dark room like smoke. “Weakness is a luxury we burned at the gates of Blackwood, Valencia.” The voice sliced through the shadows, low, precise, arctic. I didn’t need to look up to know who stood in the doorway. Silas.

I said again, louder this time. “I’m not doing that.” Silence. No reply. No countdown. Nothing. For a moment… I thought maybe I had broken something. Maybe refusing worked. Maybe. The lights went out. All of them. At once. Total darkness swallowed the room. My breath caught instantly. “What the.” The words died in my throat. Because the darkness didn’t feel empty. It felt full. Like something had stepped into the space the light left behind. I stood completely still. Listening. Waiting.

Darkness

Darkness

he hissed. My head whipped around. The alley filled with darkness like it was a liquid. "What the he-," I started. Anton grasped my arm and pulled. The familiar fear I felt earlier gripped my throat. I'd never seen the darkness actually move before. It was coming at me. The soft edges of it blurred out everything as it melted forward. The streetlight above us flickered and buzzed before it shorted out leaving us in complete darkness. "Shit," Anton spat. "Come on." He tugged at my arm.

Dare To Mate

Dare To Mate

CARLY WOODS POV Silence. Deafening silence. And... Darkness. A heavy darkness that wouldn't go away. My current state isn't what could be labeled as normal or healthy to anyone. Darkness and silence have never been the best match for anyone who wanted to keep their sanity intact. But that was all I had this past hour or so. I had no idea how long I'd been stuck running in the darkness with an occasional moment of silence, where I'd wander around aimlessly.

His Silent Luna

His Silent Luna

A ball of pure darkness formed between his hands. Ronan flicked the fingers of one hand, and the ball expanded until it filled the hallway, wrapping around each of us in turn. The vampire woman grinned at me as I stared wide eyed at what could only be vampire magic. “It’ll keep us hidden,” she whispered to me. “So long as we’re good and quiet.” I nodded my understanding. As Ronan had pointed out, I didn’t have much choice but to be quiet. But I was careful where I stepped anyway. I couldn’t talk but I could still step on a creaky board.
