My Arch Nemesis in my Bed
At first everything looked normal, no obvious trauma or unusual discoloration just the standard oral cavity of a healthy twenty-two-year-old.
But when I tilted the light at a different angle and looked more closely at the inside of her lower lip, I found exactly what I’d been looking for.
Two tiny puncture wounds, perfectly round and spaced precisely apart, positioned where they would be hidden from view and completely invisible unless someone was specifically examining the inside of her mouth. The marks were small enough that they could easily be dismissed as accidental bite marks from eating or minor oral trauma.
