Vanessa gave her a triumphant smirk and I wanted to hit her. As soon as Addie went to the front of the plane I turned to Vanessa. “This game you’re playing? It’s over. Right now. You won’t win and you don’t want to test me.” Vanessa batted her eyes at me. “What do you mean, James? I just have the Pack’s best interest in mind. And Addie is not in the Pack’s best interest.” She slid forward off her seat and put her hands on my arms, kneeling between my legs.

**AT THE PACK** “Oh no!”. Vanessa murmured fearfully. “What's wrong?”. They all asked at once. “Alpha Edward did not take the portion!”. She gasped, showing them the vail. “That is not possible I gave them to him myself!”. Enzo murmured, staring at the portion in Vanessa's hand. “Fuck!”. She murmured frustratedly, running her hands through her hair. “This is bad!”. She added. “What’s gonna happen now?”. Enzo murmured.

“Sorry, we got around as quickly as we could. It was a long night last night.” “No, darling! I mean, it has always been my dream for Owen to find his mate.” She let out a laugh. Vanessa was beautiful. She was slim, and her brown hair cascaded down her back. Her amber eyes glowed like Owen’s. There were five dresses on a rack. Vanessa explained I would try each on; then, she will pack the one that was perfect up so I could wear it tonight. I stared at the dresses in amazement. They were all beautiful.

Vanessa I shoved the last bit of things I would be taking to my mother’s into my bag. When I was done packing, I tossed myself down on my bed after I grabbed my phone off the bedside table. I played with my hair as I scrolled through my social media, rolling my eyes at all of the desperate, scantily dressed girls from my school. They had nothing on me. I was everyone’s dream girl, and I refused to let them outdo me. I took my shirt off and pulled my bra down before laying flat on my bed seductively. I spread my hair out on my pillows before carefully positioning my arm over my breasts. I opened the camera app to record a short video.

Pedro ran a frustrated hand through his hair. “You think hurting people will make the pain disappear?” “No,” Vanessa answered honestly. “It will simply make them suffer with me.” The calmness in her voice unsettled him. This wasn’t anger anymore. It was something darker. Something colder. Vanessa slowly wheeled toward the small drawer beside the bed and opened it. Inside rested: fake passports, cash, a gun, and several documents. Pedro froze. “You’ve been planning this for a while.” Vanessa picked up the passport carefully.

It was Vanessa, the biggest pack and school slut, if you want to use a nice term for her. She had, of course, bleached blonde hair and her face was caked with makeup, she had her little barbie group behind her while smirking at me. "Well, well, well look what we have here girls it's the ugly little b*tch that died and came back, if only you stayed dead!" She sneered at me, while the idiots behind her were giggling.

She thought that he would kill her. She regretted going to the meeting in the first place. She didn't stop blaming herself even though it's been more than a month since the incident happened.
