Opening the bedroom door I see my beautiful mate lying on the bed fast asleep so I quietly take my shoes off and climb onto the bed behind her, as I'm about to snuggle into her back and hold her she wakes up and starts to jump away, "Please don't," I say tiredly She turns to look at me and must-see how tired I look, the scowl is quickly replaced with worry "Is everything ok?" "Well no, not really, I can't get hold of the pack and Lanna just had a vision, The wars started and there's nothing I can do and I'm soo tired," I say yawning.

But I was marked, I was his, there was no undoing that. Did I want to undo that? No! Hell no! I had a flash of a female vampire putting her hands on my man. It made me livid, beyond pissed. I felt impossibly hot all of a sudden. “Alice? You all right,” I heard from behind me. “Oh daddy! It’s all messed up,” I said, throwing myself at him. I never answer unknown calls but in case it was Jayce I wanted to pick up. I clicked the answer button and quickly said hello. Nothing could have prepared me for hearing his voice. "Good Morning Alexa. How have you been these past two years?" As I heard his voice I immediately began feeling the anxiety from earlier return. I sank down further on the bed feeling the anxiousness in my stomach start to rise. All of a sudden I felt queasy and sick to my stomach. I prayed I didn't vomit but I could feel myself wanting to. My heart started to race and the vision of him standing over me flashed through my mind. I could see his ice cold blue eyes staring back at me and I shivered.

My back comes into contact with the windowsill, and I grip the ledge for support. Mason’s eyes glow Icy white. His wolf is staring back at me; I take a shaky breath. Waiting for the pain, knowing it was inevitable. I had angered him by pushing past him and not paying him attention. I should have known he wouldn’t let it drop. Why would he? He had nothing exciting to do tonight. His dad had ordered him to stay at home, as well as me, which had annoyed him to no end. There was no way he would let this slide, not tonight.
