I spent most of the early morning reading while the sun started to rise, and curfew was in effect. While most of it was sexual in context, there were bits of information that did come in handy. Such as how she managed to have five loves, and none of them felt excluded, or jealous. I’m already on a bad start in that area, Zach and Xaden hated each other, and with me in the mix, it just made the tension worse. Regardless, it had some tips that… maybe? I could utilize it later. He asked. Lexi worked at swallowing her potatoes first. She tapped the blue book on the table. "I was reading this book today. It's about a man named Martin that gets reanimated and he can hear a voice named Angel. Then he meets up with a girl named Carmen and they search for a dead body." "Dead bodies? What kind of books are you reading? Maybe you should stick to something with bunnies in it or something." Jack went to take the book from her. Lexi slapped her hand on the book. "No please, don't take it. I'm not finished yet." Her pleading eyes looked up at him.

“So, who do you live with then? Your mum?” “No, my mum's dead too. I live with my older brother.” I added saving him the stress of having to ask. The truth seems to be working, I just have to edit the unnecessary parts, like the fact that my brother is a vampire that is about to be crowned king of the underworld.

They didn't add that the pack and nest were evil in the news, though. Oh, and if you're wondering, I do go to school. My name is David walker. My last name was fake. Of course, it's after Allice. And in the supernatural world, they don't know my name. They call me Xavier, the Black death. And if they knew, I wouldn't have been in school. In their eyes, I'm just a typical teenager that doesn't have a single clue about supernatural creatures.

When Angela closed her eyes and nodded, he turned to me and whispered, “Maybe you should change the focus of your research, doc.” “Even if I did, I don’t know if I could possibly find a cure within a month,” I breathed. “I’ve got a feeling that Elijah won’t be the only one coming for treatment before this is through,” Max said with urgency. I thought aloud. “I still have an immunity to zombism in my system. I have no such thing for werewolfism.” “What makes you immune to zombism?” Max asked with wrinkled brow. “A low dose of vampirism,” I confessed.

Still, she seemed to know what I was as well as who Rem was. “Ah, the Hunter and a new werewolf? Sorry, I would get up to greet you, but my legs aren’t what they used to be,” she said with a smile and mild voice. She held her hand out for me to take and she offered the back of it a soft stroke. “You can call me Elder Roz, and you are?” “My name is Zach, and the Hunter behind me is Rem.” I introduced us both with a jab of my thumb behind me. The older lady smiled a little.

Once again, it missed its mark. While Kendra loaded her bow for the third time, Rex raced past her toward Felix and the zombie. Olga bellowed for Rex to stop. She and her wards were immune to the virus and needed only to be careful of being eaten by the creatures. That wasn’t the case for Rex. If he was bitten while saving Felix, there’d be no helping him. “It’s going to eat me!” Felix screamed with terror. “Don’t let it eat me!” Rex was almost where he could tackle the zombie when another of Kendra’s arrows whizzed past his head. He ducked and then stopped short as the arrow pierced the zombie’s temple. The walking corpse fell just a few inches away from Felix.

She said… “So what you’re trying to say is this book will guide Stephen and Jessica in what they’ll soon face?” Ameliah asked and Zelda nodded… “Ameliah, I know you must have read the part where a vampire and a werewolf fell in love and gave birth to a very powerful boy called Xavier right?” Zelda asked and Ameliah nodded in approval… “Well that place is true and that person is still alive and kicking.” Zelda said and Ameliah looked at her in confusion…

The gaze of the two became deep, their eyes never shifting away and the little black iris in the dull eyes of the zombie and the honeyed coloured phoenix eyes of the little girl swirled like a storm as if challenging which one has the strongest and influential gaze that can attract the two of them and will be the first to admit defeat. I won't look" Xia sighed in defeat, she was very embarrassed to look straight to the dull eyes of the zombie in front of her but she was still reluctant to retract her gaze from the not-so-obvious handsome face that was covered in grey skin and a lot of unshaven beard of this silly zombie in front of her. Although, she can’t do much damage to me. Zombies are hard to kill; basic injuries don’t phase us; we barely bleed and move faster than a human. The whole misconception that zombies are mindless, slow, and easy to kill is all the things that we incorporate into the human world through movies, books, and TV shows. We wanted them thrown off, thinking that we were mindless creatures. In reality, we are intelligent, ruthless, and apathetic to most human emotions.
