My car narrowly swerved past the sleek Maybach, sparks flying in the dark night. But right ahead was a concrete barrier. I realized there was no time to brake and could only brace myself as I crashed straight into it. Bang!

My thoughts were tangled, spiraling into deep dark places where I was so badly drowning into. But I got distracted, and in a blink—tires screeched, glass shattered, metal crumpled. I had collided with another vehicle. Pain shot through my body as everything went black.
