CRASH—! The impact roared like thunder. Metal screamed and twisted. The hood caved in, airbags exploded, shards of glass shot through the air. Cecilia was thrown hard against the side door, her shoulder hitting the metal with a sickening crunch. Sparks of pain shot through her vision. But she had to stay conscious! This was it!

Our car spun at the center of the road and crashed into something I didn’t even register before my head smashed against the dashboard. And just like that… everything went black.

The end for me. Then, CRASH. Something, or maybe someone, slammed into the front of my car with brutal force. Metal crumpled. The airbag exploded in my face. My body jerked forward, seatbelt biting deep. The world spun, tires screeching, and everything went black.

I couldn't finish my sentence as they suddenly crashed into our car from behind. Our car tumbled, and Cam’s worried voice was the last thing I heard before everything went dark.
