This time it was Devoe that answered back. "You guys should kindly hand over the ancient book. I couldn't find it in the building where I was sealed. The book holds the key to my victory". Devoe said, which kind of confused the heroes. "We don't have the ancient book, someone else stole it". Dave said which made Devoe laugh. "You think you can fool with such a lie". Devoe created fireballs in his hand, laughing and looking at the heroes. The heroes thread their step back ready to fight if he eventually changes to his beast.

Devon blurted out instantly. I closed my eyes briefly. He was such a big idiot. The board members exchanged confused looks immediately. Devon kept talking before anyone could interrupt him. “He’s been acting suspicious for weeks,” he continued quickly. “He suddenly became stronger overnight and Caleb has been helping him hide things.” “Hide what exactly?” one of the female board members asked sharply. “A spell book,” Devon answered immediately. “Or pieces of one.” I genuinely regretted not strangling him earlier. The older board member looked toward me finally. “Lucien Ashen,” he said calmly. “Would you like to explain what exactly Mr. Beaumont is rambling about?”

I would rather burn in hell. I could see that her patience was running thin, I move around the shed and see a guard in front, I walk slowly behind him, I hit him and he passes out, I replace my gun with a silencer, gun behind my back I open the door slightly, I walk into the shed trying to be as quiet as I can be, thank God hearts were in our bodies, it would have caught attention with how loud it was right now.

Tommy questioned intently, as Big Joe turned the pages of the book hurriedly, until he got to one that was filled with scribblings.
