Well, I think to myself as I study my look for the day in the mirror. This will do I guess. I grab my bag and sling it onto my arm. Today is my 5th first day at high school so nothing new to me anymore. Same sh*t different school no doubt, snotty popular girls, ass hat jocks, and everything in between. I leave the house locking the front door behind me, not bothering to tell my mum I'm leaving, It's not like she would care anyway.

I said, stumbling backwards. "It's already viral," Sarah said, face flushed. "They even made a meme out of you falling down the stairs with fake moaning." Then... That's when I heard it, the laugh, Laureen. "Well, well," she said behind us. "If it isn’t Dashling High’s newest p**n star." Sarah stiffened. "Walk away." But she didn't, she stepped closer. "Tell me, Elsa, was it worth it? Throwing yourself at Jace like some desperate little pick-me?"

But her rebellious stunt didn't soften the teacher's heart; it only became a gossip fodder among the students. "Sharon's skipping school for Harry? So romantic!" "Are you kidding? She's in her senior year, and she's still pulling this? Isn't that a little crazy?" "I saw her the other day after school. She stepped back, then drove a powerful kick into the hardwood door with all her strength. The door flew open and slammed against the wall. Ashley strode into the room with her hands on her hips and shouted at the top of her lungs, "This room is now reserved for Middleton High's HAT Elite Class students as we prepare for the HAT exam! "I advise all of you to start packing and move out. We have an important exam tomorrow, and you don't want to be the ones hindering the country's brightest talents from doing their—" She trailed off before she could finish the word "duty."

Quinn High school was a heartless bit9ch. I wasn't very fond of middle school either, but everything about high school was stressful. I had seven classes that I attended daily, a lot of times with homework in at least two, but up to four of those classes. It was hard keeping my 'B' average. I wasn't the best and brightest, so I had to work hard to get those grades. No subject was an absolutely easy class for me. Some of the teachers made things easier than others. Science was a breeze because of the teacher, not the subject matter. Dressing out for P.E. was an easy way to get an 'A' in that class. Art was another easy 'A'. In those classes, all I had to do was participate.

April pov: I am going to school early because we have a PE activity now. But before I go to school, I first went to the hospital to give the food to my father, I also intructed Doctor Alvarez to call me immediately once there was an emergency which he agreed to. I quickly went down the bus to catch up my PE class. Deafening laughter and teasing were once again enveloping those around me but I didn't pay any attention to them anymore. I have more important matters to prioritize than them.
