Bradon stared at me in silence and I could tell that he was waiting for me to make my point. My smile widened before I let out a soft sigh. “Those are indeed the things that we’re taught by the book that we need in order to be alive and continue to survive. Then, what do you think we need to ‘feel’ alive?” I asked as I cocked my head slightly to the side in wonder.

The kitchen has everything one needs to survive for a month even. I can eat as I want, watch the television, sleep and wake at anything but my movement is limited to this room only, here is no different from a prison. You don't need to commit a grievous mistake to become a prisoner in life. Being born on earth is enough for some people like me to live a lockup life.

The sun shines outside like it says good morning to any people sleeping in their beds. The cold breeze from the outside made them shivers and stand up unwillingly to work like doing a daily routine for them. After sleep, you woke up, prepare to work, going to work, leave for work and go back to your bed. But as they said, you should live your life to the fullest. Do your work for daily expenses but don't forget to live your life like you wanted it to be.

We can only be there for them when the time comes. One thing life has taught me is that in life we shouldn't live to please others, live to please ourselves. Do things according to you at your own time, not when someone wants. They are only holding you back, get out there, and do your thing. No matter how hard life gets, remind yourself that someone died today, someone slept with an empty stomach last night, someone achieved their dreams today, someone is on a hospital list hoping to get a kidney and you are lucky to be alive and healthy.

"What do people like us do when there are no enemies left to fight?" Aaron chuckled, pressing a kiss to the side of her neck. "We learn how to live," he said simply. "We teach the kids how to swim, we take spontaneous trips, we argue about what movie to watch next. We wake up every morning without the weight of survival pressing down on us." Sofia turned in his arms, looking up at him. "And you? Do you think you can do that?" she asked, searching his face. He smirked. "For you? Absolutely."

He dropped his bag on the counter and made his way towards the fridge. "I'm guessing both of them don't know where you're staying?" He said. He took out the orange juice and drank straight from the pitcher. "Nope. And I want it to stay that way." "Why?" I was hoping he would just shrug off what happened today, but I was out of luck. "Well, I love Char, but I don't want her to have any ideas, and Sebastian, obviously, he wouldn't agree with me living with a guy." "Then why don't you live with him?" He was looking at me like I was the dumbest girl he had ever met. Guess I have no choice but to let the cat out of the bag.
