When we reached his car, I slid in fast and slammed the door. Ronan got in beside me. Damage control, brand management, that sort of thing.”

Darius ran a hand through his hair, pacing a few steps away before turning back. “So what do we do?” he asked bluntly. Kade didn’t answer immediately. Neither did Ronan. All eyes shifted slightly. Their father owned a chain of car dealerships and other businesses. “Yeah,” I said, stepping out of the car with a smile. “Detour turned into a rescue mission.” Nova waved from the back. “Hey, Ronan. Mind if I tag along? Drama alert.” Ronan locked the shop door, keys jingling. “Drama? With you lot? Shocking.” He said sarcastically but playfully.

Ronan greeted Stella with a forced smile, "Hello, Ms. Dawson! I'm Ronan McKinney." Stella recognized his name. She knew he came from a famous family in Valtara. "Do you know me?" Ronan answered, "You're very famous." Stella responded, "Oh, so have you seen the movies or series I've acted in?"
