Daddy's little good bad boy
His right fist took most of the hit, battered skin and dried blood.
“It doesn’t hurt so bad.” he brushes my hand away, I pick it up, gently.
“Are you going to be honest with me now?”
My voice is void of any emotion, fingers cleaning out the cuts.
“Yes.” he takes a deep breath, and I know this must be important to him, whatever he has to say, it is important to me too.
