Pyre

Loralei had woken up to her brother’s mind link, although a small part of her hated torturing someone the asshole deserved everything that he was getting.

“Are you okay Lor?”, Lyla asked.

“Yes, I just want to move on from this”, Loralei sighed.

Truth was, that every time she closed her eyes she saw him. And every time someone closed a door, it scared her. What should of been one of the happiest days of her life will forever be tainted by the horrible memories she now has to live with.

“You know we’ll get through this together right? Our mates and family will be with us through it all. We don't always have to be strong, it’s okay to let them support us and take care of us. You should talk to the doctor, I think we should see a therapist to help us”, Lyla was hoping Loralei would talk to someone.

“That’s a good idea, when we get to Andora we’ll find someone. I do believe it’ll help me, I want to move on and live my life with our mates”, They were so engrossed in their conversation that Loralei didn't hear her mates walk into the room.

When Jack and Trent went to hug her, Loralei began screaming, the panic evident in her yelling.

Both men jumped back and dropped to their knees, “Baby it’s just us”, Jack said lowly.

“Goddess, we’re so sorry we scared you”, Trent added.

Loralei felt so ashamed, she began sobbing.

Jack and Trent stood up and took her into their arms, both whispering how much they love her and that everything will be okay. They knew that it would take time and they had all the time in the world for her. They felt guilty for scaring her, they hated Marcelo even more if it were possible. Their mate was so scared and they couldn't fault her for that. After several minutes, Loralei calmed down.

“I’m so sorry”, she apologized.

“You have nothing to be sorry for”, both her mates said at the same time.

“I love you both so much”, she held onto them.

“And we love you with all we have”, Jack and Trent said.

“Lyla and I think it’s best if we spoke to a therapist”, she whispered.

“I think that’s great baby”, Jack was so proud of how strong she is.

“That’s wonderful, it’s a great idea”, Trent encouraged.

“I don't want to see”-, she stopped talking.

Her mates knew what she was going to say, she didn't want to watch her kidnapper burn. Even after all she went through she was still so pure.

“We’ll stay with you my love”, Jack kissed her forehead. Trent nodded in agreement and hugged her.

Both Marlo and Magnus just wanted to spend time with their mate. They wanted to show her how much they love her and the pups. They wanted to comfort her and protect her from the world.

“How about I run you a bubble bath?”, Trent offered.

Loralei smiled and nodded her head.

“I’ll get you a shirt”, Jack said.

Trent led Loralei to the bathroom, he filled the tub up for her and helped her undress. He kissed her lips and bent down to kiss her belly. “I can't wait to see your belly swell up with our pups”, Loralei pulled him up and kissed him with all she had, pouring all her love into the kiss. She knew that he meant everything he’s ever told her.

Jack walked in with one of his shirts and they helped her into the bath, Jack grabbed the shampoo to wash her hair and Trent grabbed her feet and began massaging it. Loralei laid back into to tub, content in the presence of her amazing mates. The last thing she remembered was how much she loved them and her pups, before falling asleep.

On The Training Field

The entire pack watched as their Alpha’s put Lord Marcelo on the pyre. Ava mumbled an incantation binding him to it. The sun would start rising within the next few minutes. It would only take several agonizing minutes before Marcelo turned into ash, a better punishment than he deserved.

The entire royal family aside from Loralei who was asleep in her mates arms, stood alongside their pack. Waiting for the minutes to pass so that they can watch the man who hurt their daughter and family burn.

“We are one family and when one of us are hurt we all feel the pain. And when one of us are killed, we all mourn together. On this morning we stand together as we watch this monster turn into nothing. He will pay for his crimes and as we watch him pay with his life let us remember, that Silver Moon will always put its people first”, Xander boomed.

The pack began howling and shouting at his words. Finally justice will be served.

The sun began to rise and as its rays shined on Marcelo he began to burn. As his skin burned little pieces of ash flew away with it. He could not thrash or move, he tried yelling but the only thing that left his mouth was a gurgling sound. And within minutes he was no longer alive. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause.

“Let us go to the dining hall, breakfast will be served, we’ll eat together. Everyone gathered into the huge dining hall, the children had the option to sit with other children.

After the buffet style breakfast was set up everyone stood to get food. Loralei walked in, her mates on each side of her. The pack welcomed her back home, they were happy to have their Alpha Princess back.

Jack and Trent grabbed a few plates and began piling food on top of them for their mate and themselves. Loralei was currently embraced in a hug with her three best friends, Ava, Aria, and Mila.

Loralei starts jumping up and down at hearing Mila is mated to her twin brothers. After the group hugged and went back to their mates, Jack led her to the table that Trent was currently sitting at with their food.

“I’m starving”, and to prove her point Loralei’s stomach let out a loud growl. Jack placed her on his lap as Trent fed her. Trent would give spoon filled eggs to Jack as well. Loralei returned the favor as she fed Trent in return.

Everyone watched amused, they three of them worked together so effortlessly and the love they had for one another could be felt by everyone. After Trent made sure their mate ate enough he took Loralei onto his lap as Jack stood up to get them a few breakfast pastries.

After a few hours of eating and talking to one another, Xander and Xavier stood up with their mates. They cleared their throats getting everyone’s attention.

“Thank you all for being a part of our family. We may be the alpha’s but it is truly every single one of you that make Silver Moon what we are”, Xavier started.

The pack smiled proudly, they were happy to have such an amazing pack and Alpha’s. Their Luna’s really took good care of them all.

“We do have a few announcements to make, so I’ll start”, Xander stated.

“First and foremost, we will resume the search for Sirus and Charlie. We will also be training a few extra hours a day, we must be prepared in case an attack happens. Our head trainer Theo and Gamma Lee have increased security as a precaution as well. If you leave pack grounds never go alone and please keep your locations on”, Xander explained.

“Yes Alpha”, the pack agreed.

“Now on to some good news”, Xavier smiled at their pack.

“On the next full moon, ten days from now, our Alpha princess and princes’ will be crowned Queen and Kings to their kingdoms. At this time Ava will crowned Queen of Silver Moon and Jack along with Trent will be crowned Kings of Andora. Aria will also take on her role as the Gamma of Silver Moon”, the pack began howling in happiness.

“As you all may have heard, Alpha Adonis and Alpha Ares found their mate. Alpha Mila Stanford of the Highland Pack”, this caused everyone to cheer in excitement.

Although Mila’s brother Ulf was the next Alpha of their pack, she’s still an Alpha in her own right.

“At this time Commander Mila Stanford will become the Queen of Delmare”, Xavier announced.

The pack was so excited and after the week they had, the happy news was definitely a welcomed one.

Loralei and her mates stood up knowing it was their turn to announce their happy news. They were so excited that they could barely contain the smiles on their faces. It has been a rough week, but amongst all the chaos they were on cloud nine. The pack turned their attention to Loralei, Jack, and Trent.

“My mates and I are happy to announce that we are expecting our first set of pups”, Loralei was beaming.

The crowd began howling their congratulations, their Princess was carrying the next heirs to the Andora throne.

“We know that one is Lycan and one is Wolf, both strong heartbeats and both will be loved unconditionally”, Jack proudly stated.

“Both of our children will be loved fiercely and protected and because Loralei and our pups are our priority, we will leave for Andora today, Andora will become our permanent home”, Trent added.

He thought it was best to rip off that band aid. The looks of shock on their parents face was obvious and their siblings nodded in understanding.

“We are to be the Queen and Kings of Andora, our kingdom needs us. Silver Moon will always be our second home and we’ll visit often”, Loralei announced. Everyone knew that this time would eventually come. The royal children have responsibilities, they trained for them their whole lives. But it didn't change the fact that they would be missed so much.

In a little more than a week Adonis and Ares would have to leave for their Kingdom Delmare as well. The time has come where they were no longer the little pups and gups. They were adults now and would all have a family soon enough.

Loralei could tell that Ava was expecting as well, she could pick up a small change in her scent but didn't know if they knew yet. So she didn't mention it and with Mila having two mates, it was only a matter of time before they got her pregnant too. Their lives were only just beginning.
