Chapter 21

Sirus POV

Sirus has been locked up in his office all day, he has been trying to come up with a plan of attack. After he spoke with Charlie he was in a mood, Charlie kept explaining how Silver Moon was impenetrable. He also told him that he refused to die without having a better plan. They needed more warriors to even consider a plan of attack.

Sirus was thinking about his father and the woman who raised him. He knew that he needed to avenge them. They deserved that much, so he did the one thing that he could think of. He made the phone call, to the one person who hated Silver Moon even more than he did.

“Hello dear, to what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call?”, the woman on the phone asked.

“Hi Evanora, I hope all is well, I was calling to ask for a favor”, Sirus answered.

“Go ahead, I’m listening”, the wicked witch spoke.

“I was hoping that you could spare a few of the witches, I’m planning an attack on Silver Moon”, Sirus didn’t care what Charlie had said. He would still plan an attack.

“I can spare twenty to you, it’s all I can offer dear. I too am planning an attack in the near future to retrieve my granddaughter”, she replied nonchalantly as if this were a well check phone call.

“That’s all I ask, thank you, we’re at the second location”, and with that he hung up the phone.

He sat back and thought that it would be best to attack soon, he will have his revenge and Loralei.

Andora

After all the announcements and breakfast was done everyone went to training. The Alpha’s and Luna’s were getting ready to leave to Andora, Cora and Loralei with her mates already left. Garrett also went with them, he refused to not be by her side. It was decided that he will be her bodyguard from here on out. Loralei had all she needed there and so did Jack, being that his grandfather helped train him as well. Trent was excited to go right away, he has never been to Andora before. Trent bid his parents goodbye for now and Loralei teleported them home, Andora was there home now.

The minute they arrived at Andora, Doctor Bram was waiting for them. He had taken the hospital bed that Glan was brought in on to prepare for his burial. He said his condolences and went to prepare. All of Andora was in mourning, Glan was loved by everyone. The tower bell went off every hour in honor of their beloved King Father.

Loralei gave Trent a quick tour while Jack went to visit his grandparents. Trent was excited to see that the library was fully stocked with books on the History of Andora and other Kingdoms, he wanted to learn as much of his new home as possible. He was after all one of their future Kings. Loralei will also go down in history for being the first Queen with two mates who were not twins, two individual Kings.

Loralei explained to him that even though their pups had different fathers that because they are twins, they would both be the future Queens or Kings of Andora. Loralei had a suspicion that her wolf pup was also a girl, Andora is after all known for having women as heirs to the crown. She will also be the third Queen ever to give birth to twins, her babies were going to be so loved by their people.

After their tour Loralei went to see her grandmother, she knew that Cora was in so much pain after losing her mate. She missed her grandfather so damn much, she wasn't quite sure how her grandmother was holding it together. She was so strong and Loralei didn't want to leave her alone.

Her grandmother was napping so she laid down right beside her and held her as she too fell asleep. Trent was in the library, so engrossed in the book he was reading that he didn't hear the librarian Ella walk in. Ella is a sweet older woman, she could smell that he was a wolf and looked at him curiously.

Trent looked up and smiled, “Hello I’m Trent, the mate of your princess”, he introduced himself.

She smiled at him, “So it’s true, our Loralei has two mates, welcome to Andora dear”, she bowed in respect.

“No need to bow, you can call me Trent”, she nodded her head.

“Hey Ella, can you recommend some books on our history, I’d like to learn as much as I can”, he asked.

Ella already liked the young man, especially since he called Andora his home. “I will grab a few books that I believe are very informative. You can take them with you as well”, she walked away and went to grab some books on the history of their kingdom and people.

Trent was happy that he made at least one friend, she reminded him so much of his grandmother, who he should probably call soon.

Selene and Nahla along with their mates arrived at Andora, they quickly went to look for their mother and daughter. They saw the pair sleeping peacefully so they left, not wanting to disturb them.

“Let’s walk the garden”, Xander suggested.

The sisters nodded, their mates leading them to the massive garden. All kinds of rare flowers were currently in bloom, the couple sat down on one of the beautiful benches and just took in the peace and quiet.

“We’ve been thinking”, Xander started.

“We know you both miss Andora and you both took to being our mates, Luna’s, Queen’s, and amazing mother’s to our little tribe amazingly”, Xavier added.

“We just want you both to know that we love you so damn much, so how about we retire here in Andora?”, Xander asked.

The sisters looked at each other and smiled, they gladly gave up their home to be with their mates. Retiring in Andora would be amazing for them, especially since Cora and Loralei will be needing all the help that they can get.

“You both are serious?”, Nahla questioned, her mates just smiled and nodded.

Selene and Nahla squealed in happiness and jumped into the arms of their mates, “That would be amazing”, Selene said as she kissed both her mates.

“Thank you so much”, Nahla hugged and kissed her mates.

A few hours have passed, it was time to start getting ready to bury Glan. The solemn mood filled the air as they got ready to say goodbye to the man who will always be know as an amazing King, wonderful father, and dotting grandfather.

The Kingdom of Andora gathered around, they watched as a grand chariot with seahorses carved into the doors carried their beloved King Glan.

The chariot rode all around the small town, the people of Andora crying and mourning. Children not knowing what was going on were comforted by their older siblings as their parents paid their respects.

Shells and pearls of all sizes were put onto to casket in lieu of flowers. The royal family walked several miles through their town along with their relatives, the royal family of Bloom. The people of Andora mourning together, hugging the royal family, and praying to the gods to heal the pain and hurt they all felt.

After a few hours Glan was placed into a beautiful ornate casket, the casket will be brought to his final resting place, the sea. Everyone who could change into their mermaid or merman form gathered by the sea. The swim to their underwater Kingdom will be about an hour and everyone who can, will swim alongside them.

This would only be the second time that Xander and Xavier have visited the underwater portion of their kingdom. Only about a quarter of the pod live here in their natural form.

Selene and Nahla extracted their fangs and bit into their wrist, Xander and Xavier began suckling on the blood of their mates. It will temporarily give them the ability to be a merman. As per tradition everyone waited for the current Kings and Queens to lead them home.

Trent had never seen seen Loralei’s mermaid form before, she bit into her wrist and explained to him what would happen. Trent would have been ecstatic under normal circumstances but he did what he was told.

Selene and Nahla along with their mates led their pod, followed by Cora, then Loralei and her mates, the rest of the royal family, then the pod.
