Taken

Charlie POV

What a stupid girl, she really believes the shit that comes out of her mouth. Well if she’s dumb enough to help me, I have a plan. I went home after the gym and showered, I got dressed and headed to the mall. As soon as I walked into the food court the bimbo was waiting for me. I sat in the chair opposite of her, “Let’s get straight to the point”, I started.

“You want my brother, sure I don't care. One less thing for me to worry about.

“But how are we going to get near Loralei, her body guard is always with her?”, she asked.

“I have this”, I held up my hand. I had wolfsbane powder laced with ketamine, I just needed Chelsea to somehow get it on her.

She looked at me with a dumb expression, I took a deep breath, “It’s wolfsbane laced with ketamine, if you could get this on her you can teleport her to me.

Chelsea’s a mermaid, her mother was one of the women that Silas screwed around with. Her gift is teleportation, so it should easy for her to transport Loralei, but how to get near her is something entirely different.

“We should be able to find Loralei here today, she should be here now. Lets go”, I stood up and grabbed her hand.

“Play along for now, we have to look like we’re here doing whatever the hell it is you girls do”, he said sternly.

She rolled her eyes, “Sure thing honey bun”, she plastered on a smile as they walked hand in hand.

About twenty minutes later they could see Loralei talking to Ava and Aria. Words were exchanged and Ava walked into the lingerie store, her bodyguard close behind her. Loralei and Aria walked a few stores over to a clothing store.

“Nows our chance”, we walked into the same store she was in. Aria was grabbing clothes and Loralei was looking at some shirts a few racks over.

Shane noticed the both of them but pretended he hadn’t, he knew that they were up to something.

Selene, Nahla, Xander, and Xavier POV

As the couple were walking to Theo and Jocelyn’s house, several pack members had stopped to greet them. Along the way they received a mind link from Loralei.

“Hey guys, my mates have calmed down now. I just wanted to let you know I’m still going to the mall with Ava and Aria. Ava insisted, all of the guys have something to attend to, Jack will be meeting us here in about twenty minutes. Shane and Jared will be with us though”, she finished.

“Ok baby, please be careful”, Nahla said sweetly.

“If anything feels off, come back right away”, Selene added.

“Shane, don't let our daughter out of your sight”, Xavier added, knowing Shane was also in the mind link.

“Yes Alpha, he responded.

“Jared, make sure to keep your eyes peeled on my daughter”, Shane added to Jared.

“Sure thing old man”, he teased.

“Be back by six, that’s an order”, Xander said, cutting the link.

They continued their short walk to the two story house of their close friends. “I have a feeling Charlie won’t listen”, Nahla said to her mates and sister.

“We can’t just arrest him baby, he hasn’t done anything wrong”, Xavier said.

“Not yet”, Selene said annoyed.

“If he does then as the Luna’s and Queens of this pack, you’ll both be handing out the punishment”, Xander said.

He knew his mates were not happy about their daughter being in danger. Especially Nahla, she could relate, her childhood friend was obsessed with her and kidnapped the wrong twin.

“Death is the punishment”, both women said at the same time. Their daughter was not a prize to be won, Charlie will leave her alone, by choice or by death.

They walked up the steps and onto the small porch, knocking on the door. Jocelyn opened the door, “Alpha’s, Luna’s”, she bowed her head.

“How many times do we have to tell you to call us by our names”, Nahla teased.

Jocelyn moved aside to let them in, “Can I get you something to drink?”.

She wasn't sure why they stopped by, but she had a feeling it was because of her son Charlie.

“No thank you, we’re just here to speak with Charlie”, Xander said.

“He left about an hour ago, I’m not sure where he went”, she answered.

Selene could see something was bothering her, she didn't want to pry into her friends mind so she asked. “What happened Jos?”, she asked concerned.

“Well Theo and Charlie had words earlier”, she started.

“Theo told Charlie to stay away from Loralei and Charlie didn't like that. He told Theo that he wasn’t his father and Theo told him if he didn't forget about Loralei that he’d kill him himself”, she finished as she tried to hold back the tears.

She knew that her husband meant every word he said and she agrees with him, but it didn't make her feel any better about possibly losing her son.

“We’re so sorry”, the sisters said at the same time as they hugged their friend.

“We don't mean to cause any problems, but the severity of the situation-”, Xander trailed off.

“I understand Alpha, death is the punishment”, Jocelyn knew her son wasn’t going to give up so easily. Charlie has always been an overachiever and when he wants something, he goes for it.

“Thank you, we must go now”, Xavier finished excusing them.

As they were leaving the house, they received a frantic mind link from Loralei.

“Moms, Dads, they took her! They took Aria! Oh my goddess! Come now please!”, she screamed.

“Baby we’re coming”, Trent said. He mind linked Jack to get him.

“We’re coming my love, now tell me who took my sister?”, Jack asked worriedly as went to get Trent.

They have to teleport to the parking garage and then go into the mall that was across the street.

“Chelsea and Charlie, they took her. I’m so sorry Jack”, hearing his mate scared and crying terrified him to the core, he needed to get to her and find his sister.

“It’s not your fault, get to the parking garage with Ava now”, her parents ordered.

“Chelsea was trying to kidnap the princess, Charlie was with her. They disappeared with Aria since they couldn’t take Loralei. Jared is with the girls, I’m trying to catch their scent Alpha’s”, Shane explained.

From the deepness of his voice they knew Sven was in control and already shifted.

“I have the girls, Ava formed a shield around us, we’re headed to the parking garage now”, Jared said.

Kade and Kane were fighting for control, they wanted to get to their pup and Ava. Selene and Nahla grabbed their mates and teleported to the parking garage. Jack had just teleported at the same time with Trent. They began running towards the exit door just as it opened up and the girls ran to them. Loralei ran to her mates sobbing and Aria ran to her godfather’s crying.

“I’m so sorry Jack, it’s all my fault”, she cried.

“No it’s not, I shouldn’t have insisted we come”, Ava cried.

“It’s no ones fault but my brothers, I’m the one that’s sorry”, Trent said angrily. He was trying to calm his frantic mate down.

Lennox appeared in front of them within seconds and ran to Ava. “It’s okay baby, I’m here, we’ll find her”, he held his crying mate.

He looked at his parents, “The twins are working on getting the search party together for Aria. Aunt Mariana went into labor, she said she can’t feel her daughter. She needs you mom’s”, Lennox told Selene and Nahla.

“Uncle Lee doesn't know what to do, his daughter was kidnapped and his wife’s in labor. We have to go now”, he teleported back to Silver Moon with Ava in his arms.

Everyone was back in seconds, “I need the top ten trackers and top twenty warriors on the training grounds now!”, roared Kane to the pack through mind link.

“Yes, Alpha”, they responded.

Within three minutes thirty warriors were where they were asked to be, led by Adonis and Ares. Selene and Nahla went straight to the hospital to be with their best friend, and Lee showed up at the training grounds. Mariana demanded that he find their daughter, he was no use being in the hospital.

“We have some traders in our pack, Charlie Lautnie and Chelsea Vancouver”, Xander boomed to the crowd.

Snarls and growls ripped through their chest, they wanted blood.

“They attempted to kidnap your Alpha Princess, our daughter Loralei. They’ve successfully kidnapped our Gamma female Aria”, he quickly explained.

The warriors all growled and shifted into their animal form ready to kill.

You all will be separated into three groups to search for Aria, if you come in contact with either of the traders, kill them on sight. Our priority is to find and rescue Aria, do you understand!”, Xavier roared.

“Yes Alphas!”, they roared.

“Adonis, Ares, and Finnic will be leading the mission. Dismissed.”, Xander finished.

Finnic is the head warrior of the pod, having him lead one of the searches is a great strategy. He knows how to track mermaids, so he should be able to get a lead on Chelsea.

Xander and Xavier turned towards Lennox, “Get in contact with the surrounding packs, let them know what is going on”, Xander ordered his son.

Lennox nodded his head and disappeared with Ava.

“Lora, get in contact with the four realms, let them know what is going on”, Xavier told his daughter.

He looked at Trent, “You will stay with Loralei and try to find your brother through your bond, do not teleport to him without us if you find him. Do I make myself clear?”, Xavier added.

“Yes Alpha, both he and Loralei responded, before disappearing.

“Lee your wife is in labor, you need to stay in Silver Moon”, Xander said to his friend.

“I need you to get with the warriors and double patrol around our borders”, Xavier ordered their Gamma.

“Yes Alphas”, he shifted and ran off.

“Theo, any idea where the hell he went?”, Xander asked.

“No Alpha, I don't know”, he answered, bowing his head in shame.

“This is not your fault, call around and see what you can find out about Chelsea. She’s the key to this mess”, Xander ordered.

“Yes Alpha”, he left to do as he was told.

“Jack, can you feel your sister”, Xavier asked.

“I can't feel her but I know she’s alive. I feel my bond to her, but she must be drugged. I can't find her location”, he said.

“Keep trying”, Xavier said.

“I need you to search the bodies of waters surrounding the pack, take ten pod warriors with you”, Xander commanded.

“Yes Alpha”, he left.

“Shane, have you picked up on anything?”, Xander asked.

“I lost their scent in neutral territory. They must have teleported again”, he answered.

“Dammit”, Xander growled.

“Come pack to the pack, we need you here”, Xavier said.

“Be there in twenty minutes”, he cut the link.
