Jim chuckles, adding his own twist to the tale, "Well, speaking of rain, I remember this one time when our family camping trip turned into a muddy adventure. We ended up making the best mud pies, and Mom was not happy about it!" Jonathan, intrigued, leans in and shares, "Rain seems to be the theme tonight. You know, back in college, there was this legendary prank involving a rain machine. Let me tell you, that story still makes me laugh." Laughter echoes through the room as we dive into one amusing story after another. The living room, once a serene space, now resonates with the joyous sound of shared narratives. "Look proud." "I'm trying." "Try harder." His grin returned. I could tell he was enjoying this far too much. The conversation drifted toward safer topics. We talked about movies, his travels and embarrassing work stories. To my surprise, Roman had plenty of them. Apparently, being wealthy didn't protect people from making fools of themselves. At one point, he described accidentally walking into the wrong boardroom during an important meeting. I laughed so hard my eyes watered as he spoke. The image was too ridiculous and Roman looked offended, which only made it funnier.

“Well, sister, you have been missing out. Do you know how many nights these little beauties have saved me?” She launched into wild unfiltered stories about her dates and about one time in a supply closet during a summit and how she had so much fun with it. It was so hilarious. I couldn’t help it. I started laughing, “You’re terrible.” “I’m experienced,” she corrected. “There’s a difference.” She kept going on and on telling me about the time she brought one to a diplomatic dinner “for emergencies” and how she’d had to excuse herself mid-course and used it. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

Betsy’s POV I laughed so intensely that my stomach began to ache. The experience felt unusual yet pleasant because it brought me an excessive level of enjoyment. This moment enabled me to rediscover the ability to laugh without restraint which I had forgotten. Caroline told me how our lecturer accidentally shared a romantic message intended for his wife with the entire class group chat, which she described in a way that made the story funnier. Caroline demonstrated the situation by showing how he attempted to remove the first message but sent another message which said "please ignore previous message" instead. "The first message," Caroline said, "should have helped him out of his situation.

Not sure I was going to remember any one though because I was just concentrating in his lips how they moved when he spoke and how his eyes sparkled when he saw a familiar place that he loved so much. He told me how he and Rob once go mugged in a particular alley well the men didn't know what hit them. I laughed so hard when he told me one of the men pissed himself when he saw his fangs and the other passed out. I really wish I lived like this. I mean the kids playing in the snow with their parents and friends. Some older people drinking and laughing at stupid things. " Did I say something?" His voiced snapped me out of my trance. "Huh?"

Nathan chuckled along with everyone else, shaking his head in good-natured embarrassment. “He can be a crybaby sometimes” Talia added. Paige selected a card from the box and read it out loud, "Funniest Mishap." She chuckled mischievously before launching into a story, “On my first day at the job, Mr Grey accidentally spilled juice on his shirt right before an important meeting. He tried to discreetly cover the stain with his tie, only to have it unravel during the meeting, leaving him in an awkward situation.” Paige’s animated storytelling had everyone in stitches, and even Nathan couldn't help but laugh at the memory.

I laughed harder as I found the situation quite funny. "Really, it wasn't close to funny when it happened. I didn't even know whether to cry or laugh." She said laughing harder. As the bitter experience had passed, it was now okay to laugh about it. Had it been the incident was still fresh, we dare not laugh about it. We'd probably be crying or something. Because, in reality, it was painful. "I'm sorry you had to encounter that but at least you got a hug" I said giving her a knowing look as I playfully teased her

Those losers. I turned to look at the knife which was now stuck to the wall, to think that it could have been stuck to my best friend's head, it wouldn't have been a pleasant sight. "Am sure you just saw your life flash right before your eyes" I said as a way of elevating the mood, with the near death experience, we both needed humor even if our present situation didn't call for it. "Tell me about it, damn that was one thrilling experience, damn girl, I knew you were a dump ass," at his words I chuckled, he could just say smart, but I guess that would cut his tongue off.

“Asshole!" We all burst out laughing. This feels like we are just teens boys, on a road trip, having a good time…
