Temptress

Before I could get a word in Jack flipped me onto my stomach and onto his lap, “Pick a safe word little minx”, Jack said huskily into my ear.

This should have scared me but it didn’t. It had my flower leaking in anticipation. What the hell is wrong with me, “Nothing is wrong with us, temptress should be our safe word”, Lyla all but purred at me.

“Temptress”, I whispered.

“Good girl, now you are only to address me as sir or daddy. Do you understand baby?”, all I could do was nod. I screamed out in pain and pleasure as his hand smacked me right on my ass.

Trent POV

I could barely get comfortable enough to sleep, my wolf and I wanted to be by our mate. Loralei is our mate, I kept having to remind myself, she’s so perfect.

“If you weren't such a whore, we could’ve been with Jack pleasuring her right now”, Magnus told me for the tenth time tonight. But I couldn't blame him, he was right and now I had to pay the price.

I touched the fresh mark on my neck and smiled, “I will do anything and everything to get her to love us”, I told my wolf. I knew he was grumpy, so was I, I wanted to be by Loralei, even if I couldn't touch her.

I got up and walked downstairs to the kitchen for a midnight snack. When I walked in, my brother was already there. He was sitting on one of the stools, a glass of milk on the island in front of him.

“Did Loralei already get tired of you?”, he teased. My wolf snarled, I turned towards him.

“Why do you hate me so much Charlie, what have I ever done to you?”, I asked, fed up with his remarks.

I could never understand why he was so cold towards me, “You were born”, he said matter of factly.

“Mom and I were fine without you, then you were born”, he stated what he probably thought was obvious.

“And if that wasn't enough, you’re fated to the woman that I have loved my whole life”, he all but snarled. My wolf growled, not happy that Charlie wanted our mate.

A growl ripped through me, “She is mine and Jack’s”, I snarled.

“The moon goddess fated us to her, understand it real quick brother”, I all but yelled.

Charlie looked at me and laughed, “You’re right, she is, but it won't be long before you mess up and she rejects you anyway”, he laughed. He stood up and left to his room, I was so mad I left to go for a run.

“Hey Adonis, are you awake?”, I asked my best friend.

“I am now, what do you want?”, he asked.

Magnus and I are letting off some steam, want to meet me at the gym?”, I asked.

“Be there in a sec”, he said cutting the link.

I didn't need to say much, Adonis doesn't ask questions. He knows that my brother and I don't get along and that I come to the gym, usually after fighting with him. True to his word, Adonis appeared a few minutes later with Ares.

“Want to talk about it?”, Ares asked.

Ares was the strategic one, always wanting to find a solution.

“Hold the bag”, I told them.

I began taking my frustrations out on the punching bag. After several minutes Adonis grabbed my shoulders. “Dude you broke the bag”, I looked up and saw the sand pouring out of it. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't even realize it.

“Okay, spill”, the twins said at the same time.

I took a deep breath, I told them about the argument I had with my brother and how he was secretly in love with my mate, their sister.

“Shit!”, exclaimed Ares.

I could see Adonis fighting his lycan for control, “I will fucking kill him if he goes near my sister”, he was not happy.

Loralei’s brothers are extremely protective of her, I knew that we’d be telling Jack later on.

“You being fated to our sister only gave him even more of a reason to hate you. When he said your mom and he were fine, he didn't mention your dad. It seems that there’s something more to this hatred”, Adonis said in thought.

“He’s right, maybe it’s time you talk to your parents”, Ares added.

Jack POV

I held onto my beautiful mate, her scent of rain and vanilla was so soothing. I stared at her as she slept, a smirk playing on my lips. “We wore her out”, Marlo said proudly.

I moved her hair from her face and just studied her features. She is everything to me, I can't wait to marry her. “We sure did”, I chuckled.

I couldn't sleep, not after having the vision that I did. Someone wanted Loralei, but I don't know who, all I could see was a shadow. A man and he wanted my mate, my vision only showed me a figure of a man who kept saying he was going to have her. I have to talk to the Alpha’s, Luna’s, and my mom. I have a feeling something bad was going to happen and sooner then we all think.

As I laid in bed holding my mate, I felt angry. It was not my anger though, Trent. It had to be Trent and since we’re both marked I can feel his emotions. I could feel his anger directed at someone, but there was something more. “It has to do with our mate”, Marlo said.

“Trent where are you?”, I asked him.

“Jack?”, he asked.

“No, Poseidon”, I teased. “Yes, it’s Jack”, I answered.

“Is everything okay? Is Loralei okay?”, he asked concerned.

“She is perfectly fine, now where are you?”, I asked again.

“I’m at the gym with the twins, why?”, he asked.

“Shane, I need you to come look out for Loralei, I have to talk to Trent and the Alpha Princes”, I mind linked Uncle Shane, who happens to also be Loralei’s bodyguard.

“Be there in a few minutes”, he cut the link.

I quickly got dressed and waited for Shane to get here, he walked into the living room and sat on the couch. “Go ahead Jack, I won’t go anywhere”, I gave him a nod and teleported to the gym.

I looked at Trent, who looked at me confused. “I could feel your emotions, what’s going on?”, I asked him.

“How did you know something was”-. It must of clicked.

“Our bond to her”, he said out loud. I looked at Adonis and Ares, who both looked pissed at something or was it someone.

“Anyone care to explain, preferably now”, I demanded.

Trent sighed and sat down on one of the benches, he told me about his argument with Charlie and how he suspects that his parents are keeping a secret from him. Marlo and I growled, not liking that Charlie is in love with our mate.

“Just what we needed, fuck!”, I yelled.

“Do you care to explain?”, Adonis asked, repeating the question I asked them a few minutes ago.

“Stay out of my head Don”, I told him.

“You saw something, what the hell is going on?”, demanded Ares.

Ares was the calm one, but based on the looks that both his twin and I had, he knew something was up.

“What the hell is going on?”, shouted Trent.

I took a deep breath and explained my vision to them.

“You left her alone”, Trent stood up getting ready to shift and run to our mate.

“She’s not alone, are you crazy! Shane is with her”, I stood up and looked at the twins.

“After breakfast, in a few hours, we’ll call a meeting”, I said to them.

They all nodded in agreement. I looked at Trent and grabbed his shoulder, teleporting us to the cabin.

Shane was sleeping on the couch so we left him there and walked to the room, where our mate lay sleeping peacefully. Trent stood still, unsure of why I brought him back with me.

“She misses you, she’s mumbled your name a few times in her sleep”, I explained quickly.

He looked at Lei a smile on his face and I knew right then, that he’d never hurt her, I could see the love in his eyes for our mate.

“Thank you Jack”, he said.

“No problem, the bed is big enough, we’ll each take a side”, I told him as I stripped out of my clothes.

“And it looks like you could use some sleep”, I chuckled.

I knew that he missed her, I was gone for only twenty minutes and I missed her.

“You really wore our girl out”, he chuckled getting into the bed. Loralei instantly snuggled into him, her head nuzzled into his neck.

I laid right behind her, my head in her hair, “I’ll put in a good word for you”, I joked.

Trent just laughed as we snuggled into our baby and fell asleep. “Everything was going to change in a few hours, I just knew it, I could feel it.
