My brain was screaming run, but I couldn’t exactly exit a spinning circle without looking suspiciously dramatic. “Uh… truth?” I mumbled. They all leaned in, grinning like predators. “One thing you could do. What is it? Give us one idea.” My throat went dry. Everything I thought of sounded ridiculous or incriminating. My first thought a dumb, awkward, 100 percent true thought slipped out before I could stop it: “Ummm date somebody online?” The room froze for a split second. Then, laughter exploded. “Ohhhhhh,” one kid howled. “Yes! That would be crazy!”

Not even when my head aches and eyes beg to be relieved from working in the semi-darkness. “Why did you have to go and do something so stupid? Hitting the Alpha…” I complain softly to the paper. “What do I do now? Talk to me.” I must be going mad, but weirdly, it helps filter the even crazier thoughts out. “I should come at you with sewing needles next full moon. Every time you think about doing something stupid, I could get you with a prick. There is no need for a prick joke, I can conjure it up in my own head.”

You can start there. I nod slowly. “Finally, someone who makes sense.” Me: I’ll try this. Thanks. I exit the forum, then immediately type: ‘Random fun questions to ask a friend about themselves.’ Enter. My screen floods with suggestions, lists of icebreakers, “cute couple” quizzes, whole threads about date ideas, random memes sprinkled in. I scroll. And scroll. And scroll. “Oh. That’s actually a good question. I’ll keep that.” Next scroll. “That’s funny… but if I ask it, will I sound weird?”

'Why tease me when you're not even going to give me the meat pie? I laughed again. 'We can always buy a new one.' 'Too late. I lost interest.' She took her drink and started drinking from the straw. I watched how her lips tightened around the straw. Don't you wish your lips was the straw right now? Oh shut it. I burst into laughter at my own thoughts and Jade looked up. 'What's so funny?' I shrugged. 'My thoughts. Funny how crazy my thoughts are these days.' 'Care to tell me about them?'

His eyes fell to my phone as I looked at the picture of the apartment. It was funny I was doing something that I never expected to do. Maybe it was from disbelief, or maybe the thought that she was lost forever I couldn't quite say at that moment, in a way I felt I was ridiculous. I didn’t know, but I didn’t care ... .The Thought forced a laughter from me. My laughter was Softly, dark. The kind of laugh that has no good intentions or one that was fed up with the thought of life. It was the kind of laugh the walls of life don't forget more like I was doing it out of mockery.

When had I become so boring? My eyes landed on the mirror across the room, and I walked up to it, dragging my fingers through my damp hair. "When was the last time you actually did something for yourself, Yuki?" I whispered to my reflection. Silence. I sighed, letting my head drop back. Then, out of nowhere, a thought struck me. A completely random, impulsive thought. I needed to go out. Tonight. Something about the idea jolted me, like plugging in a dead phone and watching it flicker back to life.

A very explicit video began to run in my mind and I had to slap myself back to reality. I need to take another cold shower to calm myself but I can’t go down again. Not like this and now how I ran away. I must have seemed really weird. I don’t know how weird but I’m sure it was very awkward! Deep breaths! I started calming myself in other ways. Deep breaths… I inhaled and exhaled in balance. Think fluffy thoughts. Think of the teletubbies of your childhood. Wait. Why teletubbies? No wait, anything is fine at this moment.

I can't believe there are some animals that is not being considerate and have less conscience and even devilish in nature who would think of spamming me with messages when I find sleep interesting, I thought rolling on the seat as well as sending them curse words trying to sleep again without the thought of picking up the phone on my mind at all. But then, my mind baffles me as I kept on thinking of which reason it is that I have so many messages disturbing my phone and my peace at the same time, I thought but then something suddenly came into my mind which I turned away from cause it can never be so only for it to come again making me brush it off again it can never be possible that must be

And the worst part about this weird thought that just popped up in my head is that I can’t even clear the stupid thought from my mind because I know it is what Jimmy is capable of doing when the spirit of stupidity enters into me. But God help him if he actually decides to be stupid and think from his ass rather than from the brain he was blessed with because he will not live to witness the end of my rage and this is not even a joke. I would be absolutely pissed with him for more than a month if he decides to embarrass me like that.
